Bridal Shower Teapot
My sister-in-law is marrying a wonderful guy on the beach in just a few short weeks. Her bridal shower was this past weekend at Tea at the Gallery. It was a lot of fun and we even learned several things about tea. This teapot was created for the occasion.
Chocolate cake with buttercream filling. The teapot is covered with fondant. The handle and spout are also fondant. The flowers are all buttercream.

Twix Sunflower Box
I had seen so many cute cakes with candy bars around the edges to create the look of a barrel or a flower box and just had to give it a try.
Chocolate cake filled and iced with chocolate ganache. I used Twix bars around the edges to create the flower box. The sunflowers and grass are buttercream.

Flowers & Cake Design Final Cake
This past spring, I took the Wilton Flowers & Cake Design class at JoAnn's. This was the cake that I made on the final night the class. I was so excited to learn how to do the basketweave!
